This bunch of photos was taking during last time the NDP NE2. Almost forgot about it.
After the fireworks, we scrolled to the Marina Bay Sand. Part of the Double Helix bridge was closed due to the rehearsal at the Float.
NDP2010 NE Show 2 Fireworks: Photos and Tips

On last Saturday, I went out with Marshall and Elfred for the NDP2010 NE2 fireworks photography at Marina Bay area. This was just a NDP rehearsal, officials said the fireworks on NE is just 10% of the total fireworks to be set off on actual day. Too bad NDP that day, we will be at Cameron Highlands.
In the next few following weeks, there will be still fireworks. So don’t miss it.

We set up our tripod and camera in front Esplanade around 7:45pm. The first fireworks was quite short, just a few bursts. Turn out that we were consider too near to the fireworks! Above photo I managed to get the Marina Sands inside, but the firework was cropped.
At the same spot, after slightly angle adjustment to my camera and we had waited another half an hour. Finally, the final round fireworks started. It was a 3-minutes long fireworks. Hm.. Imagine the actual NDP will have a 30 minutes long fireworks show.
Friday Meetup: Chili’s Grill & Bar @ Tanglin Mall

It becomes quite usual for my friends and I to meet up for a good Friday dinner. Especially we can exchange our miserable working life stories. Besides that, this restaurant has the World Cup matches broadcasted live.
Wow, today German vs Serbia will be the first World Cup 2010 match I ever seen. I have lost count how many seasons I have not caught up with EPL.
This was my first visit Chili’s. The restaurant is located at Tanglin Mall. To me, Tanglin Mall doesn’t sound to be a crowded place, however this restaurant is an exception. It was roughly after 6:30pm, there was never an empty table.
Pixar 20 Years of Animation Exhibition

Thanks omy.sg for the invitation to the Pixar exhibition. The exhibition has been showcasing for almost 2 months at Singapore Science Center.
The exhibition is located at The Annexe. Just at the entrance you can see the characters from Monster Inc, Mike and Sulley .
Singapore Entertainment Awards 2010 新加坡e乐大赏2010

Thanks omy.sg for a pair of free tickets to Singapore Entertainment Awards 2010 on last Saturday. At the last minute we set off to Marina Bay Float for the event, the weather still didn’t look good.
Fortunately, there wasn’t any heavy rain.
Supporters of 梁文音 dressed in conspicuous pink and prepared plenty pink balloons.
CNY 2010 @ Singapore China Town

Went down to China Town yesterday. Chinese New Year is around the corner. In this festive, Singapore Chinese will come to China Town to get some traditional decorations, Chinese home-made biscuits and candies, or just come down to soak up the atmosphere of Chinese New Year.
Timbre @Old School: Dear Pals

Compare back to few years ago, more of my high school classmates have come to Singapore to earn a living. Finally I have more “kaki†to eat, drink and have fun. Too bad that day Peitat was sick, he has been none stop coughing for weeks. I haven’t heard from him after that day, hope that wasn’t H1N1.
Timbre @Old School: The Food

We didn’t have a proper celebration on the count down for the year 2010, so after work, we had a small dinner gathering over Timbre @Old School on last Thursday. There are 3 Timbre branches in Singapore. Since the next day we still have to get up early to work, we chose the one with the live band performance started the earliest.
Timbre @Old School is located at Mount Sophia, high on top of the hill behind Plaza Singapura. Before getting to the spot, you need to climbing up a long flight of stairs. I think I’m getting old, climbing the stairs already very tired. For that reason, I need more beer to numb myself.
