Jun 29th
People often visits Thailand should have known that “Wat†means “Temple†in Thai. After viewing the beautiful scenery at Karon View Point, we headed towards the Phuket largest temple – Wat Chalong.
With the help of GPS again, driving to our next destination in Phuket is not that difficult.

Phuket is the Thailand’s largest island. It is at a little over 48km in length and 15km at its widest point.
Just after we passed the 2 beaches, further along the road up to the hill. We reached the majestic viewpoint – Karon View Point. From here, the view extends from the northern reaches from Karon to the Phromthep Cape.
The Phuket Beaches – Karon and Kato

At first day, we stayed on the Phuket main island. We rented a car and drive around Phuket that day. The rental fee including GPS was around 1800baht. We rented the vehicle right at the hotel tourist counter. The counter opens at 7am~8pm.

GPS is one of the best invention in recent years for car drivers. You will never get lost with it. My iPhone GPS was totally screwed without data roaming.

We reached Phuket the night before, it was around 12am we then reached the hotel. It was so late that all the stalls were closed, we ended up having McDonalds as our supper. This is my 3rd time to Thailand but also my first time to Phuket.

As usual, the hotel beds are messy in the morning.
The First Thing After Returning from Phuket!
May 4th
I just came back from Thailand Phuket after a long Labour Day weekend. Nice, enjoyable but also exhausted travel trip. The weather over there was so great! It was totally different from the weather forecast before we arrived.
After so much fun, the first thing I’m going to do isn’t updating the travel photos but applying a lot aloe vera gel on my over burnt wrists and shoulder.

Purchased this said to be “99.9% Aloe Vera” moisturizer for SGD9.95 at Guardian. I followed the instruction, applied the gel on skin and gently massage until it was fully absorbed. Not bad! Immediately soothe my sunburn skin itchiness.
Well, travel trip will update later!
